RSS feed, front page updates

RSS feed should be semi-working now

OpenArena leveldesign/texture study (September 22, 2025)

Decided to exclusevly use the textures used in the infamous HandsOfGod map, didn't come up with something amazing but was still fun to play around with.

Site update (September 18, 2025)

Debloated my site a bit by scaling down the images on my site, my leveldesign gallery should load quicker now.

OpenArena: Ratmod gameplay (September 15, 2025)

Nothing special, Ratmod is if CPMA (Quake 3 mod) was active and ran on OpenArena (Quake 3 with open source assets); not having Quake Live's input lag actually ended up throwing me off with the shotgun. Might make a few maps for it in the future but I am busy with university right now, not much time for personal projects.

Fun map (September 10, 2025)

Some gameplay from yesterday, also happy belated Cirno day, wanted to take my Cirno fumo out and take some pictures but didn't get the chance to :(.

Ramblings about random articles and Youtube account deletion (September 6, 2025)

Finally deleted the Youtube account a few weeks back, I was barely using it outside of playlists and keeping track of subscriptions and the weird AI drama was the final straw. Fortunetly Google allows you to export a .csv of your subscriptions and playlists so I didn't really lose anything and was able to set up RSS feeds for each subscription I had (will probably make a seperate article for that). Anyway, saw this article on The Register where Microsoft finally put in a keybind for em/en dashes but honestly it's a bit late for that because these days em dashes have unfortunetly become synonamous with LLM outputs.

Quake live demo (August 19, 2025)

Demo download coming soon-ish, will put a link in this post Neocities doesn't allow filehosting unless you pay, but I will upload the demo files at a future date.

Major site update (August 18, 2025)

CSS cleanup, navbar change, and new font. Addtionally I got rid of the journal archive as it is no longer needed (all the posts are on this page now.) Still looking for a nice background image but so far the website is looking much better now in terms of layout and minor graphical changes.

NEVER BUY LEXAR THUMB DRIVES AGAIN (August 12, 2025)

Was trying to move some files to my new-ish laptop (an old thinkpad from ebay), and the flash drive randomly died on me despite it being fairly new...guess that's what I get for buying cheap garbage. Fortunetly I bought three of them and the inital drive might be a lemon but it's still really irritating.

Installed Xonotic's font on my computer, possible URL change (July 21, 2025)

Interestingly enough the font looks nice on my computer. For the URL, I will probably move to something not Touhou related, but dunno. Would love to work on this site (and get rid of the abomination of my css stylesheet) but I can't find the time for it atm.

Installed void, archived my first set of posts (July 2, 2025)

Finally got around to installing Void, only problem is that I'm having trouble with finding a key remapping tool (couldn't compile xremap properly) so I can play the Touhou games just fixed this, prebuilt binary somehow worked fine. Also just archived my first set of blogposts to clear up page space.

Netradiant troubles (June 20,2025)

So I wanted to fire up Netradiant just to play around with mapping in Xonotic but for some bizzare reason it can't find some dependancy on my computer despite said dependancy being installed. Very frustrating, but maybe it's a sign that I should get back to learning the GNUstep toolkit or actually finishing one of the Touhou games.

June 15, 2025

Rearranged my room, used to have a desk/bed combination but got rid of that because it was bulky as hell. Also played Mechwarrior Online for the first time in a while, sucked at it because I'm not caught up with the meta and was rusty on some of the keybinds.

RSS feed up(June 10, 2025)

RSS has been implemented.

Proton working again (June 10, 2025)

Proton started working again after some driver updates so it was probably some driver issue after all. Also going to see if I can insert an RSS feed for the blog later today.

Thoughts on FFmpeg's WebRTC support, Proton troubles (June 9, 2025):

So a few days ago FFmpeg got support for WebRTC streams, which basically means online streaming (and theoretically video calling) is going to become a whole lot easier now with minimal software required. Only concern would be for exploits but overall very exciting stuff. Now with proton, yesterday I started having issues where most games that required Proton (Wine for Steam) randomly stopped working. Thinking it's a driver/steam client issue but not 100% sure. The Touhou games work fine oddly enough.

June 8, 2025:

Man I should add RSS support for the blog if I can. Anyways, finally got around to playing Perfect Cherry blossom again but didn't get very far (lost all my lives by Lilly's first wave and frankly I could have done a lot better in surviving Alice's final attacks).

June 7, 2025

Well I have something I'm proud and the site doesn't look too blatantly unfinished. Still no static blogging engine but I'm mostly okay with how things look right now.

June 7, 2025:

Did a bit more work but will probably have to start from scratch when it comes to the html if I want to have a proper static blog. Techically I could write up my own but IMO that would be a waste of time because I want to do other things (namely learning to use the GNUstep gui toolkit) and really just need a place to collect my stuff.

June 6, 2025:

Still trying to set up a static blog generator that's emacs-centric, I know there are plenty of statc blog generators but I would like to use org-mode. Also more appropriate theming coming soon-ish, most of the current theme came from an old college project and I don't want to be accused of stealing pictures online when it comes to theming.

Initial blogpost

Finally got the blog page set up.
