Netradiant troubles (June 20,2025)

So I wanted to fire up Netradiant just to play around with mapping in Xonotic but for some bizzare reason it can't find some dependancy on my computer despite said dependancy being installed. Very frustrating, but maybe it's a sign that I should get back to learning the GNUstep toolkit or actually finishing one of the Touhou games.

June 15, 2025

Rearranged my room, used to have a desk/bed combination but got rid of that because it was bulky as hell. Also played Mechwarrior Online for the first time in a while, sucked at it because I'm not caught up with the meta and was rusty on some of the keybinds.

RSS feed up(June 10, 2025)

RSS has been implemented.

Proton working again (June 10, 2025)

Proton started working again after some driver updates so it was probably some driver issue after all. Also going to see if I can insert an RSS feed for the blog later today.

Thoughts on FFmpeg's WebRTC support, Proton troubles (June 9, 2025):

So a few days ago FFmpeg got support for WebRTC streams, which basically means online streaming (and theoretically video calling) is going to become a whole lot easier now with minimal software required. Only concern would be for exploits but overall very exciting stuff. Now with proton, yesterday I started having issues where most games that required Proton (Wine for Steam) randomly stopped working. Thinking it's a driver/steam client issue but not 100% sure. The Touhou games work fine oddly enough.

June 8, 2025:

Man I should add RSS support for the blog if I can. Anyways, finally got around to playing Perfect Cherry blossom again but didn't get very far (lost all my lives by Lilly's first wave and frankly I could have done a lot better in surviving Alice's final attacks).

Evening of June 7, 2025

Well I have something I'm proud and the site doesn't look too blatantly unfinished. Still no static blogging engine but I'm mostly okay with how things look right now.

June 7, 2025:

Did a bit more work but will probably have to start from scratch when it comes to the html if I want to have a proper static blog. Techically I could write up my own but IMO that would be a waste of time because I want to do other things (namely learning to use the GNUstep gui toolkit) and really just need a place to collect my stuff.

June 6, 2025:

Still trying to set up a static blog generator that's emacs-centric, I know there are plenty of statc blog generators but I would like to use org-mode. Also more appropriate theming coming soon-ish, most of the current theme came from an old college project and I don't want to be accused of stealing pictures online when it comes to theming.

Initial blogpost

Finally got the blog page set up.
